Hi! I'm Ravenn, nice to meet you!
I'm not much of an artist but, I try to do my best. I'm learning, just really really slowly. :D. I love comic books and superheroes, writing and reading. I want to be a writer someday and I'm working towards that goal. Maybe in another 3-4 years after my art skills improve(I hope...) I would like to make my own comic. I also play the clarinet but, I really want to learn how to play the Violin or Viola so I hope to make that happen soon. Another one of my loves is foreign languages. I want to speak five languages nearly fluently before I turn thirty-five. I've got English down and I'm getting close on Japanese. The next language I plan to learn is Italian, I kind of started but not consistently.
I'm also really interested in cosplay. 2012 will be my first year cosplaying and I'm very excited. I've waited a long time to try this and I really can't wait!
I think I have too many interests for one lifetime, but I'm going to try and workhard towards all my goals.

Hello,
Today was my last(hopefully) first day of school. Yup senior year, hopefully leaving with my undergraduate degree in two semesters. I didn't draw a lot over the summer, mostly just in July and August, but I did start getting more serious about it. I got some anatomy books from the library(and videos!). So I'm trying harder to get things right and not just reply on online tutorials. I wanted to take an art class at school this semester, but they all conflicted with my schedule. Hey everyone!(or anyone...^_^),
This summer is really busy. I have a lot of projects going at once, taking three summer courses and I'm in the NaNoWriMo summer camp, so I'm writing a novel this month. But somehow, I've still found some time to draw and I'm going to try and make time to draw as much as I can. I'm really happy with my improvement so far! I still have such a long way to go, but I really see a lot of changes in my art a Ind I'm also experimenting more and trying new things. I'm playing with fabric, with anatomy, with lining thickness, style, etc. I'm learning a lot! My goal for the end of June is to have 20 new full colore

Ultimate Storm

Ultimate Storm Costume Progress: 8/100% complete.
So far I bought the wig, it arrived and now I must style it. I also ordered some blue contacts, the old EOS Adult Blue. I wasn't sure if I wanted blue or brown eyes because in the comic her eyes are actually a light brown color but, since Storm is known for her blue eyes I figured I'd go with the more recognizable feature.
The biggest frustration with this costume is picking a fabric. I've asked at least ten people on DA about the fabric they picked for their super-hero costumes and gotten many different answers. I've ordered fabric swatches twice from Spandex World and once from MJ Tren
